In addition to promoting more accessible, efficient justice systems that guarantee due process, JSCA is committed to promoting justice systems with a gender perspective. As an international agency, we have reached the conclusion that the gender perspective must be implemented throughout our organizational culture and institutional activity in order to effectively, fully and equitably carry out our mission and objectives. This means that it is considered within the organization –staff, processes and activities- and in the development of research, studies projects and training activities. If justice systems that are reformed or modernized do not consider the differences that men and women experience in them, justice may only be partially improved for only one segment of society.
