This work area focuses on issues of justice funding, addressing aspects such as funding sources, their efficiency, and the need to determine the real impact of investment through the evaluation of judicial reform projects. These lacks could partially explain the difficulty that judicial systems often have to make their needs part of the public agenda and the difficulty justifying investments in judicial reform projects.



  • To gather information about the various funding models in the region.
  • To analyze the foundations, advantages and disadvantages of funding justice through user fees and to show how these systems operate in countries around the region: what is charged, who is charged, how much is collected and where the money goes.
